Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Provide accounting oversight, compliance, and internal financial reporting
  • Oversee financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage internal controls and supervise accounting operations
  • Select, hire, and train department members to ensure efficient operations

Financial Analysis & Forecasting

  • Collect, interpret, and review financial statements and relevant information
  • Manage financial risk
  • Analyze trends, create forecasts, and enable data-driven decisions

Policies, Procedures & Systems

  • Oversee AP, AR, and GL processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Review and reconcile supplier statements, resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Oversee company cash flow, ensuring efficient liquidity for operational needs

Tax and Government Compliance

  • Review and manage all tax requirements and filings
  • Manage all government registrations including BOI, LGU, BIR, and SEC

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and align objectives

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the direct manager based on organizational needs and evolving business requirements

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of Finance or Accounting-related course
  • More than 10 years of experience as Finance and Accounting Manager
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting standards, and local tax regulations
  • Flexible to respond to urgent matters beyond normal working hours
