Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Manager located in Makati. The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR-related functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor regulations. Responsibilities also include creating HR strategies, providing guidance to leadership on all HR matters, and fostering a positive organizational culture. The role will ensure the alignment of HR objectives with the company's vision and business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Source, screen, and onboard service staff and kitchen crews; develop talent pipelines to manage the high turnover typical of the F&B industry.
  • Labor Relations & Compliance: Solely manage employee discipline and cases. Lead the Due Process (issuing Notice to Explain, conducting Administrative Investigations) and represent the company in DOLE proceedings if necessary.
  • Performance Management: Implement evaluation systems and provide coaching to improve service standards.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Oversight of timekeeping and payroll processing, ensuring 100% compliance with government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and 13th-month pay.
  • Policy Development: Implement Employee Handbooks specifically tailored for restaurant operations (e.g., hygiene standards, shifting, and attendance).

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, talent acquisition, and employee onboarding processes
  • Experience in performance management, employee relations, and team training and development
  • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, compliance requirements, and organizational policies
  • Proficiency in communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational planning, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive workplace culture and foster team collaboration
