Role Summary
We are looking for a Robot Operator to remotely operate robotic systems and help capture high-quality datasets used for robotics and AI development.
In this role, you will execute precise robotic task sequences through teleoperation systems while following strict operational protocols. Success in this role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to follow complex instructions consistently.

Key Responsibilities
Robot Teleoperation
- Operate robots remotely to perform tasks such as object manipulation, navigation, and recovery behaviors
- Maintain smooth, precise, and controlled movements during teleoperation sessions
- Execute both scripted and semi-scripted robotic operations
Data Collection & Task Execution
- Follow strict data collection requirements including camera angles, motion trajectories, and repetition sequences
- Capture task variations, edge cases, and failure scenarios to support AI training
Operational Monitoring
- Tag key events during robot operation including task phases and anomalies
- Document observations and provide clear operational notes
Pre-Run & Post-Run Procedures
- Conduct pre-operation checks such as calibration, latency verification, and controller configuration
- Complete post-operation checklists and documentation
Quality & Safety
- Follow safety protocols and operational stop rules
- Escalate uncertainties or operational issues immediately
- Re-run sequences when quality assurance identifies issues
Requirements
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor control
- High attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions precisely
- Comfortable using controllers, VR interfaces, or similar input devices
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong written communication skills for documenting runs and tagging events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotics teleoperation, simulation environments, or VR systems
- Background in gaming, robotics, manufacturing operations, or motion capture
- Basic understanding of robotics concepts such as degrees of freedom (DoF), grasp stability, and object interaction
