As a Master Data Associate, you will work directly with business functions and
stakeholders to promote consistency, quality, integrity and standardization of master data across the
entire organization. Your focus will be to support projects and priorities to increase the strategic
value of data to the business and to implement master data management policies, processes and
systems. You will provide support and coordination for master data maintenance
activities. As a Master Data Associate, you will also be accountable for data maintenance
requirements to support platform integrations across all applicable systems, with a
special focus on supporting platforms with customer-facing functionality.
As a Master Data Associate, you will:
· Support ongoing daily data maintenance requirements for customer-facing
platforms and systems, including updates to applicable data objects and issue resolution
· Monitor data quality dashboard metrics daily for customer-facing platforms and
support the Data Quality Associate to identify requirements to change or enhance data
quality management
· Assess impacts of master data changes to downstream systems and business processes
· Assess the validity of inbound requests against established policy and guidelines
· Participate in the development and documentation of data maintenance processes
· Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of processes and procedures to support
ongoing audit requirements
As Our Ideal Candidate You'll Have:
· Post-secondary Degree or Diploma.
· 2+ years of related experience in master data management and data quality management
· Demonstrated analytical skills and comfort/experience working with data
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Data collection and manipulation experience
· Hands-on experience working with Product master data in SAP or similar ERP system
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills
· A high level of professionalism and ability to work under pressure (with deadlines and
multiple stakeholders)
