Duties and Responsibilities:
Timely and accurate end to end payroll processing for semi-monthly, off-cycle payroll and final pay calculations
Responsible for the deduction and remittance of all government mandated contributions/deductions.
Ensure accurate withholding and reporting of local payroll taxes including Tax Annualization
Resolve complex payroll processing issues to ensure smooth payroll processing
Stay informed about changes / updates in Philippine payroll laws and regulations
Generate and distribute payroll reports for Accounting, HR and Management
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies or concerns
Support all payroll related audit activities and inquiries
Support Month-end closing activities by reconciling payroll accounts
Review and analyze monthly compensation accruals and expenses
Identify opportunities for standardization and process improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 2-3 years Philippine payroll experience
Possess excellent attention to detail; excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
With solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively with minimum supervision
Ability to collaborate & communicate effectively with internal partners on issues and provide recommendations
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tight deadlines
Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Certification in Payroll is a plus
