Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum of 35 years of hands-on experience processing end-to-end payroll within professional payroll applications.
  • Demonstrated experience handling multi-state payroll, tax filings, or high-volume data entry.

Must Have:

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of applicable payroll practices, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations.
  • HR Integration: Strong understanding of human resource management principles and how they impact payroll processing.
  • Independent Execution: High level of self-motivation and the ability to manage individual daily workflows with minimal oversight.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills for coordinating with internal departments and explaining payroll details to employees.
  • Precision: Keen attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or system errors.
  • Time Management: Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet strict processing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service orientation when assisting employees with payroll-related questions.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively within a team-oriented, collaborative environment to meet department goals.
  • Confidentiality: Professional ability to handle sensitive information in a manner that protects employee privacy and data security.
