Job Summary
The Specialist is responsible for resolving complex technical issues that may not have predefined processes while driving process standardization and knowledge retention initiatives. This role leads the development of technical documentation and knowledge bases and demonstrates in-depth expertise in specific technical domains supported by a broad technical foundation.
The Specialist identifies and mitigates risks in non-standard scenarios, proposes process improvements, and supports optimization and standardization efforts. The role also supports task management, facilitates knowledge sharing and technical collaboration among team members, and leads the resolution of critical technical issues.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure platforms that support critical business applications and services while ensuring secure and efficient network communication across the organization and with US client IT systems.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Analyze system performance trends, identify potential risks, and recommend optimization improvements.
• Capacity Assurance
Propose infrastructure capacity expansion plans and support implementation activities.
• Procurement Coordination
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure technical specifications align with business requirements.
• Procurement Budget Planning
Gather budget-related data and provide supporting justifications for procurement needs.
• Innovative Solution Research and Development
Research and evaluate emerging technologies and provide innovative solution recommendations.
• Solution Iteration and Upgrade
Identify operational issues and recommend continuous improvement and upgrade solutions.
• Solution Implementation
Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure solutions.
• Automation
Design advanced scripts and optimize existing automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Resource Integration
Perform system and resource integration operations across infrastructure platforms.
Protect the organization's IT infrastructure against threats and vulnerabilities by implementing robust security measures, patch management, and security protocols to ensure overall infrastructure security assurance.
• Security Monitoring
Analyze system logs and identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Threat Mitigation
Develop response strategies and coordinate mitigation resources for identified threats.
• Incident Resolution
Handle unprecedented incidents and ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Incident Management
Review and validate incident information, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend preventive improvements.
• Preventive Measures
Recommend and establish preventive controls and security enhancement measures.
• IT Infrastructure BCP Development
Assist in drafting Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and recommend testing approaches.
• BCP Drill
Evaluate drill outcomes and recommend improvements for continuity readiness.
• Compliance Adherence
Support audit preparation activities, including documentation and improvement reporting.
Qualifications
Education Background
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
Licenses/Certificates
• CCNA certification is required
• CCNP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred
Working Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a networking-related field with network project experience
• Minimum of 4 years of overall IT experience
• Experience working in a multinational corporation environment is preferred
• Experience administering a medium-sized network environment (750+ nodes) is preferred
Competencies, Skills, and Behaviors
• System Experience
o Introductory knowledge in Windows Server
o Advanced experience with Cisco technologies (ASA, IOS, Switches)
o Advanced Huawei experience
o Introductory Linux knowledge (Ubuntu preferred)
