ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and people-driven HR Business Partner Assistant Manager to support our restaurant brands and operations teams.

In this role, he or she will act as the primary HR partner for assigned brands or business units, supporting store leaders on staffing, employee relations, engagement, performance, and capability-building. You'll play a key role in translating People & Culture strategies into day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, operations-led environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Serve as the HR partner to Brand and Operations Leaders, supporting staffing, discipline, and performance management
  • Participate in brand OE meetings, providing people analytics, insights, and action plans
  • Own the hiring and deployment plan for assigned brands in coordination with Talent Acquisition
  • Monitor store manpower, support new store openings, and ensure staffing stability
  • Handle employee relations including investigations, hearings, disciplinary cases, grievances, and mediation
  • Coach store leaders on proper documentation, discipline, and people management practices
  • Track training and onboarding completion (leadership, soft skills, FOH/BOH certifications)
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and brand activities
  • Prepare and submit weekly HR dashboards and reports (attrition, attendance, ER cases, hiring)
  • Conduct HR and safety audits and ensure compliance with company policies and DOLE standards
  • Act as a conduit between Operations and HR Centers of Excellence (TA, C&B, OD, Training)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field
  • Certification or experience in strategic HR business partnering is an advantage
  • At least 8 years of solid experience in end-to-end HRBP or HR operations roles
  • Background in labor-intensive and operations-driven industries such as hospitality, manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics
  • Experience handling employee relations, discipline cases, and labor compliance
  • Knowledge or exposure to CBA, labor-management councils, or unionized environments is a plus
  • Proficient in HRIS (PeopleCore or similar), Power BI, and MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into people insights
