Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager. The Commercial Finance Manager plays a critical role in driving business performance by partnering with business teams to provide financial insight, analysis, and strategic support. This role focuses on revenue growth, pricing, profitability, forecasting, and decision support, acting as a trusted advisor to sales team, manufacturing team, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to Manufacturing, Sales, and Business leaders
  • Provide financial insights to support commercial decision‑making and growth strategies
  • Challenge assumptions and influence decisions with data‑driven recommendations

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead revenue forecasting, budgeting, and rolling forecasts
  • Analyze variances vs. budget/forecast and identify risks and opportunities
  • Build and maintain financial models to support business cases and investments

Pricing & Profitability

  • Support pricing strategy, discount governance, and deal approvals
  • Analyze product and customer profitability
  • Monitor margin performance and recommend corrective actions

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Evaluate commercial performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Track production and sales performance and provide clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders

Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure financial discipline in commercial decision‑making
  • Maintain robust controls around pricing, contracts, and incentives
  • Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Management

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and support teams (eg Procurement) to evaluate CAPEX proposals related to capacity expansion, automation and cost efficiency
  • Build and review financial models for CAPEX investments (ROI, payback period, NPV/IRR where applicable)
  • Support prioritization of CAPEX requests in line with strategic priorities, growth plans, and budget constraints
  • Track CAPEX spend versus approved budgets and timelines, identifying variances and risks
  • Monitor post‑investment performance to ensure delivery of expected financial and operational benefits
  • Ensure adherence to internal CAPEX approval processes, controls, and governance standards

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Supply Chain and Sales Operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance and commercial processes

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA is an advantage
  • 5–8+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering roles
  • Experience supporting sales or revenue‑driven organizations preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Commercial mindset with solid understanding of revenue, pricing, and margins
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI)
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
