About the Company

As a key subsidiary of SMC Infrastructure, you will join the Company that is responsible for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the MRT7 project. The MRT7 Project is set to redefine the commute between Metro Manila and Bulacan by introducing a modern, high-efficiency rail network.

Driven by a commitment to reliability and sustainability, the Company aims to significantly reduce traffic congestion, strengthen regional connectivity, and catalyze economic growth.

The MRT7 Project at a Glance

The MRT7 is a 22-kilometer rail and road system extending from North Avenue in Quezon City to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. Designed to be a backbone of northern metropolitan transit, the project features 14 strategically placed stations, including Quezon North Avenue Joint Station, University Avenue, Batasan, and San Jose del Monte.

Once fully operational, the MRT7 is engineered to support a massive daily capacity of up to 650,000 passengers, offering a faster and more seamless travel experience for the commuting public.

About the Role

The rationale and purpose behind the existence of this position is to design, implement, and administer the company's compensation and benefits programs. This role is to build a competitive and equitable rewards structure that attracts, motivates, and retains top-tier talent while ensuring strict compliance with Philippine labor laws and government regulations through data-driven analysis and rigorous job evaluation, this position optimizes personnel costs versus organizational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end timekeeping process, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely submission of attendance logs, overtime forms, and leave applications.
  • Maintain specialized monitoring of leave applications and attendance for Managers, Officers, and Consultants.
  • Facilitate the issuance of certificates of contribution and ensure all status changes (address, civil status, etc.) are updated in the company's HRIS/SAP system.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all mandated benefits, including SSS (Sickness/Maternity), PhilHealth (MDR updates), and Pag-IBIG (Multi-purpose/Calamity loans).
  • Manage the registration and application of Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) for new hires.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the company's Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), managing dependent records and endorsing Letters of Authority (LOA) for medical concerns.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) sessions specifically focused on maximizing the value of company and statutory benefits.
  • Conduct regular compensation and benefits benchmarking against industry competitors.
  • Perform comprehensive compensation analysis to design and maintain equitable salary structures, pay scales, and alignment across various business units.
  • Lead cost-benefit analyses for proposed benefit enhancements or policy changes, providing management with data-backed recommendations.
  • Manage formal Job Evaluation (JE) procedures to determine the internal relative value of positions, ensuring internal equity and logical career progression.
  • Perform deep-dive audits of Overtime (OT) and Undertime (UT) trends, correlating these metrics against departmental productivity to identify inefficiencies.
  • Conduct variance analysis of labor costs versus budget, providing insights into personnel-related expenditures.
  • Maintain a high-accuracy employee database and Master Data Authority (MDA) in SAP to ensure all analytical reports are based on clean data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree graduate of Behavioral Science / BS Psychology / Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management, Social Sciences, Human Resources Organizational Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years experience as an HR Generalist or HR Assistant focusing on Compensation and Benefits Administration.
  • Possesses intermediate to thorough knowledge and ability to navigate and utilize HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Preferably with intermediate experience in functional uses of SAP, Microsoft Office applications, Office 365 applications, especially SharePoint and OneDrive.
