Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector (e.g., solar, wind and BESS projects).
  • Lead & manage end-to-end energy project development activities, site selection, feasibility assessments, land acuiqisition, commercial evaluations, permittings, project development and execution of utility scale renewable projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local communities, government agencies, off-takers, EPC contractors, banks and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (technical, finance, legal, operation and ESG) and external advisors ( technical, enviromental, legal & finance) to ensure commercially viable and bankable projects.
  • Monitor market trends, technolgy trends, regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, investment papers, and regular management reports

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Business Development
  • At least 5 years of experience within the Renewable Energy sector
  • Solid understanding of renewable energy project development, commercial models, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working with international partners, investors, or cross-border projects is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in project origination, deal structuring, and closing renewable energy projects.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
