Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector (e.g., solar, wind and BESS projects).
Lead & manage end-to-end energy project development activities, site selection, feasibility assessments, land acuiqisition, commercial evaluations, permittings, project development and execution of utility scale renewable projects.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, local communities, government agencies, off-takers, EPC contractors, banks and other stakeholders.
Coordinate closely with internal teams (technical, finance, legal, operation and ESG) and external advisors ( technical, enviromental, legal & finance) to ensure commercially viable and bankable projects.
Monitor market trends, technolgy trends, regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
Prepare and present business proposals, investment papers, and regular management reports
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Business Development
At least 5 years of experience within the Renewable Energy sector
Solid understanding of renewable energy project development, commercial models, and regulatory frameworks.
Experience working with international partners, investors, or cross-border projects is highly desirable.
Proven track record in project origination, deal structuring, and closing renewable energy projects.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
