Job Description

What You'll Be Doing

Oversee the full accounting cycle including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting
Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related analyses
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and development opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision making
Identify process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed

What We're Looking For

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 4-5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
Demonstrable expertise in general accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of accounting professionals
Familiarity with the insurance industry or financial services sector is preferred
