The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the effective implementation of internal controls. The primary responsibilities would typically include: financial reporting, account reconciliation, compliance, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, audit coordination, and process and systems improvement.
This role supervises a team of accountants and works closely with other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, leadership and decision-making skills.
- Possess strong moral fiber and keen attention to details.
- Possess excellent communication (verbal and oral) and interpersonal skills.
