Position Overview
- Support the Country Head in managing the overall accounting and finance functions.
- Ensure local operational processes are aligned with ASUS HQ policies and comply with local regulatory requirements.
- Establish and implement financial management policies, including expense and business travel policies.
- Drive continuous improvement in local financial and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate financial operations with ASUS Headquarters and external stakeholders in alignment with the company's strategy and vision.
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including daily accounting activities and financial management.
- Monitor internal cash flow, budgeting, and risk management to ensure financial accountability and operational efficiency.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and year-end audits.
- Support quarterly and annual tax filings, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
- Ensure financial operations comply with both internal corporate policies and local statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience in Accounting, preferably in a managerial or leadership capacity, and in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting systems/software.
- Excellent leadership skills, detail-oriented mindset, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mature, able to work under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced IT industry environment.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
- Chartered Accountant / CPA qualification or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience working with regional or multinational finance teams
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience managing cross-border finance operations
- Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.
