General Description:
The Warehouse Planner is responsible for optimizing warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics to ensure efficient movement of goods while minimizing costs and maximizing space utilization. This role involves analyzing demand, coordinating and collaborating with various teams to maintain accurate inventory levels and smooth warehouse operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and validate inventory movement in the system which includes Goods Receipts and Goods Issuances across all warehouses assigned to ensure accurate inventory posting
- Manages the shipping/dispatching workflow
- Reviews open and closed sales orders and invoices
- Works closely with the Customer Service Team to resolve issues
- Escalates issues to supervisors and managers when necessary
- Maintains the daily shipping and receiving schedule
- Prepares daily route schedule
- Categorizes inventory and complete inventory tracking
- Monitors and review stock replenishment
- Coordinates with Head Office on the replenishment schedule
- Provides daily approved orders and route plan to 3PL
- Monitors all NTE, Slow Moving and Non-Moving items and reports on-time to Department Head and provides resolution to eliminate disposal.
- Daily checking and monitoring of warehouse inbound/outbound to ensure on-time, complete and accurate posting – all warehouse Open Orders for PO, SO, TO must be closed within 24hours.
- Facilitates transmittal of supplier Delivery Receipts from warehouse to Finance AP
- Daily checking of warehouse DR must be:
- Proper filing, complete DR series
- All alterations in DR due to unserved/short stock should properly be adjusted in the system within 24 hours
- All DR coming from store backload or returns should properly be posted in the system
- Any findings must be coordinate with W&L Supervisor and 3PL ICA for corrective action/entry
- Coordinates, Participates and monitor the 3PL warehouse partner in daily/weekly cycle count
- Checking and monitoring of Delivery Receipt (DR) document liquidation/billing from trucking to assure 100% complete on daily basis.
- Monitoring of delivery receipts from outbound truckers for checking of variances. DR with variance must be adjusted in the system and charges will be made after the investigation
- Daily coordination of inventory reports, ageing reports and insufficient and OS reports to Order fulfillment group, Demand & Replenishment group and procurement for action and disposition
- Ensuring availability of stocks within the agreed minimum and maximum level
- On-time replenishment of stocks to ensure the stock level and avoid out-of-stock incident and emergency replenishment
- Close coordination with 3PL and Admin Officer on the truck booking for replenishment.
- Coordinate with Holding warehouse Planner on the requirement for replenishment.
Work Experience Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
