Job Summary
We are looking for a local IT Recruiter based in Manila with hands-on experience hiring for the Philippines IT market. The ideal candidate should be skilled in sourcing and closing local IT talent such as Data Engineers, Data Modelers, and other IT roles. This role will initially operate in a mid shift to support local hiring needs; however, the recruiter must be flexible to move to night shift and support US staffing requirements when local workload is low.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and submit candidates for local Philippines IT positions, including Data Engineer, Data Modeler, and other technical roles.
- Utilize job portals, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and market mapping to attract local IT talent.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings, technical alignment checks, and salary discussions.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and internal teams to understand role requirements and timelines.
- Maintain strong candidate pipeline and market intelligence for IT skills in the Philippines.
- Support US staffing/recruitment during night shifts when required.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment processes, documentation, and turnaround timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 25+ years of IT recruitment experience, preferably in the Philippines local market.
- Proven experience hiring for Data Engineers, Data Modelers, and other IT/technical roles.
- Strong understanding of local salary trends, availability, and hiring practices in Manila.
- Experience or willingness to learn US staffing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions.
- Must be flexible to work night shifts and support US recruitment when business needs require.
