An exciting opportunity has arisen to take a Supply Chain Planner into our Supply Chain team within Roche Diagnostics Philippines. The Supply Chain Planner plays a critical role in ensuring seamless demand and supply planning, supporting product launches, and driving operational excellence across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a customer-centric mindset to align supply chain strategies with business growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities include

Demand Planning

  • Conduct forecast analysis and evaluate demand cash-up in collaboration with the Sales Team to ensure alignment with business sales ambitions.
  • Represent the Supply Chain team in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing strategic and tactical data to support management decision-making and track performance against targets.

Supply Planning

  • Ensure product availability through collaboration with internal and third-party (3P) sources, supporting continuous supply for growth objectives.
  • Oversee product receipt, redressing, stickering, bundling, and compliance with regulatory requirements at 3P warehouses.
  • Manage master data accuracy, ensuring MRP parameters are correctly maintained and extended to 3P warehouse systems.
  • Optimize stock-keeping levels to minimize stock-outs, reduce inventory costs, and prevent business waste.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate Supply Plans using forecast inputs, ensuring timely product availability in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Initiate and manage escalation processes for planning issues, including congestion management, allocations, and batch reservations.

Strategic Initiatives, Support to Launches and Bids

  • Support execution of new programs and initiatives, including promotional events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement long-term supply chain strategies and networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product launches on time and in full, proactively assessing risks and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Support bids and promotional activities by aligning supply chain timelines with business requirements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and strengthen service reliability.
  • Participate in initiatives that optimize workflows, systems, and partner performance.

Governance & Compliance

To be successful in this position you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering (preferred), Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in demand and supply planning within a multinational or regulated industry. Prior experience in the Medical Device, Life Sciences or FMCG industry will be advantageous.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate fluently in English
  • Possess SAP know-how in SD and MM modules (must).
  • Proven that you can lead and influence a team, as well as work with a myriad of stakeholders including senior management.
  • Independent, resilient and possess the desire and ability to challenge the status quo
