We are currently partnering on a retained search assignment for a Supply Chain Senior Manager to join a leading organisation operating across Southeast Asia within the swine genetics and production sector.

This is a high-impact regional role based in the Philippines (regional hub), responsible for leading and optimising supply chain operations across a fast-growing, underdeveloped SEA market.

Role Overview

This position sits at the intersection of operations, supply chain leadership, and animal production systems, supporting the flow of genetic products from nucleus herds through to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional supply chain strategy across SEA
• Oversee end-to-end operations: procurement, planning, logistics, inventory & distribution
• Manage supplier and multiplication partner networks
• Ensure efficient flow of genetic products through production systems
• Drive cost optimisation, biosecurity, and operational performance
• Develop and lead a regional supply chain team
• Support regional growth through improved operational execution and scalability
• Manage supply chain budget and performance reporting

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with:

• Minimum 4 years experience in intensive swine production systems
• Strong understanding of live pig production and production systems management
• Background in supply chain, operations, or production environments
• Experience managing suppliers, partners, or key operational stakeholders
• Proven people leadership experience (small teams ideal)
• Strong analytical and data/reporting capability
• Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced, developing markets

SEA is a high-growth but underdeveloped region, requiring someone who can both:

• Stabilise and optimise current operations
• Build scalable systems to support future commercial growth

Key markets include:

Philippines (hub), Vietnam (growth), Japan & Korea, with expansion into Taiwan, Malaysia & Indonesia.
