About the Role
This role involves designing and delivering creative and engaging social media strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc., adapting content to suit different channels and audiences.
- Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms
- Create and/or coordinate original and engaging multimedia content across multiple social platforms.
- Develop, launch, and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the organization and brand.
- Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms.
- Undertake audience research.
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.
- Monitor, track, analyse, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Audience Insights.
- Identify consumer trends to help with planning social media campaigns.
Qualifications
- 0-1 year of experience managing social media accounts for businesses
- Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills
- Proficient in major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut)
- Experience with content calendars and scheduling tools
- Strong communication and community management skills
- Ability to run paid ads and boost campaigns
- Trend-aware, creative, and detail-oriented
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
