Schedule: Flexible with EST Overlap Hours (8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST)

About The Role

The Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for executing data-driven marketing strategies that drive measurable client outcomes. Sitting at the intersection of paid media, web, and CRM, this role will manage campaign performance, build marketing funnels, and optimize for conversion across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is analytical, experimental, and excited to drive real results for education-focused initiatives.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution

  • Plan and execute digital campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, OTT, audio, email, landing pages).
  • Oversee performance and Looker Studio reporting in coordination with digital agency partners.
  • Define and track KPIs that align with client goals (e.g., enrollment, recruitment).

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance and implement real-time optimizations in coordination with the creative team.
  • Review dashboards to draw actionable insights from campaign results.
  • Design and run A/B tests and conversion rate optimization (CRO) experiments.
  • Build client-facing, monthly performance presentation decks for meetings.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with creative and strategy teams to align messaging, visuals, and targeting.
  • Collaborate with account leads to build marketing strategies that support each client's objectives.
  • Manage external media vendors and partners when applicable.

Must-Have

Competencies and Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in growth, performance, or demand generation marketing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with platforms like Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (GA4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Looker Studio).
  • Proven ability to plan, optimize, and analyze campaigns end-to-end.
  • Strategic thinker with a highly analytical and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in education, non-profits, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience managing media budgets over $100K.
  • Experience in full-funnel marketing — from top-of-funnel awareness to conversion and retention.
  • Experience integrating CRM with paid campaigns (e.g., syncing HubSpot or Salesforce with ad platforms).
  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and marketing automation tools.
  • Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced, cross-functional team.
