SUMMARY
This position's primary responsibility will be to support our growing ServiceNow implementation. This role will provide platform support, implement changes and requests, and work on system integrations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in ensuring the platform is stable, available, and performs optimally. This includes installing, updating and configuring apps and plugins and performing semi-annual upgrades.
- Support by working with Administrators and End Users to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve support issues.
- Participate in the application roadmap guided by the ServiceNow Architects by designing, coding and troubleshooting applications with a vision to follow Best Practices.
- Meet with internal/external End Users to define business further, functional, and technical requirements.
- Be a mentor by providing guidance, coaching, training and documentation to Administrators and End Users.
- Participate in providing data, reporting, and analytics in support of business operations and metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, SPM
- Experience developing within a domain separated instance preferred
- ServiceNow certifications:
- Administration (CSA) Required
- Developer (CAD) Preferred
- Working knowledge of Script Includes, Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, Workflows, Flow Designer, Update Sets, import sets, transform maps, Client Scripts, IU Policies, Form designing, Inbound Actions, Notifications, Reporting, Dashboards, Form designing, and Service Catalog
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other third-party platforms, including ingesting data from those systems preferred
- JavaScript experience required
- HTML, AngularJS, jQuery, Service Portal experience a plus
- Working knowledge of API (Application Programming Interface) Management; REST, SOAP, Formats JSON, XML a plus
- General and technical documentation writing, based on audience
- Project Management, Agile Scrum Management, a plus
- Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
- The ideal candidates will have 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Background in ITIL and Knowledge Management processes preferable
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to solution with limited requirements
