You own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for specialized insurance and financial services roles, ensuring high-caliber placements for an Australia-based recruitment firm. Your work directly impacts client growth by executing advanced sourcing strategies, technical vetting, and market mapping to secure niche talent in a competitive landscape.

This is not a generalist high-volume role. You operate within a structured agency environment where you are responsible for technical screening, offer management, and maintaining strict placement KPIs. Best suited for recruitment professionals who thrive in technical markets, value data-driven results, and prefer clear accountability and urgency over passive administrative tasks.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience specifically in insurance or financial services.
  • Capability to handle high-volume and specialist roles with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and database mining.

Strong Signals

  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior recruiters.
  • Knowledge of both permanent and contract placements.
  • Competence in market mapping and competitor analysis.

You own the quality of the talent funnel, ensuring every candidate is vetted for technical capability and long-term retention.

  • Lead the comprehensive recruitment lifecycle for complex insurance and financial roles.
  • Conduct in-depth technical screenings and cultural fit assessments.
  • Complete thorough reference checks and compliance documentation before placement.

Advanced Sourcing & Strategy

You own the talent pipeline, utilizing creative and multi-channel strategies to identify hard-to-reach professionals.

  • Implement multi-channel sourcing including LinkedIn, referrals, and market mapping.
  • Provide data-driven insights to clients regarding candidate availability and market expectations.
  • Build and maintain active talent pools to reduce time-to-fill for future hiring needs.

Process Compliance & Team Contribution

You ensure operational excellence by adhering to documented standards and supporting team growth.

  • Maintain 100% accuracy in records within the CRM/ATS systems and follow legislative requirements.
  • Drive performance metrics (KPIs) and demonstrate urgency in role delivery.
  • Provide informal guidance to junior team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.
