About the job
As a Senior Accountant at Karlon Group, you will play an integral role as accounting lead on multiple client engagements across industries including consumer, SaaS, business services, manufacturing and healthcare. We are looking for someone who has a strong foundation of 3+ years in accounting, with one those years working in US accounting. We want candidates who love process and obsess over the numbers. The ideal candidate is a self-proclaimed perfectionist who has a passion for working cross-functionally with internal and client teams.
You'll work extensively with our growing finance and accounting team (we're actually a lot of fun). You'll also have plenty of opportunities to work with senior leaders at Karlon Group and at our clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close processes
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Conduct thorough financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes
Produce detailed financial reports for internal and client review
Interact with clients to provide financial insights and support
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree holder in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant
3+ years of experience in accounting (with at least 1 year in US accounting - US firm background is highly preferred)
Experience with tangible goods/inventory management
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis
Proficiency with Quickbooks online
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice-to-Haves:
Master of Business Administration degree
Experience at large auditing firm
Experience in eCommerce
Familiarity with Netsuite and Xero
Strong client-facing communication and meeting skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Own equipment, preferably Microsoft operating system and with extra monitor
Reliable, stable and high-speed internet
