Title: Senior Accountant

Hours and Start dates:

Place of Work: Work from home

Minimum Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, inclusive of 1-hour break per day

Working Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday, 4 AM - 1 PM Philippine Time zone (inclusive of 1-hour break)

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably with US GAAP experience

  • Highly preferred if the candidate has been working or has worked in public accounting firms (e.g., SGV, PWC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, etc.)

  • Must be knowledgeable and must have an experience in using QuickBooks Online

  • Must be a self-starter

  • Must be detailed oriented

  • Must have good leadership skills

  • Highly motivated, analytical with an attention to detail, and logical thinkers, with a passion for determining strategy and appropriate approach for transactions to help clients solve important problems

  • Able to execute and produce work with quality despite minimal supervision and formal training

  • Able to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of our client's goals

  • Proficient in English communication - both speaking and writing

  • Must have no part time work/other commitments

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of engagements with high-quality work/deliverables

  • Review the work of team members including:

o Recording of invoices and preparation of payments

o Recording of Sales in QuickBooks

o Recording of Credit Card Transactions in QuickBooks

o Emails to clients to request for other information and/or status updates

o Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Ledger.

o Monthly Reconciliation of Bank Accounts

o Account schedules (Prepaid expenses, Debt, Fixed Assets, and Equity)

o Reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis

  • Lead, manage and train junior colleagues

  • Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and othe parties.

  • Maintain and balance the general ledger accurately, completely, and up to date.

  • Prepare financial reports (Balance Sheet, Profit, and Loss, Cash flow, Statement of Shareholders Equity)

  • Prepare quarterly or annual financial workbooks and/or financial statements.

  • Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships together with the manager in-charge.

  • Help to coach and develop team members to achieve technical competencies and efficient performance.
