We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant (Work from home) to support our client based in the US.

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and supporting key financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll. This role involves ensuring the accurate processing of transactions, maintaining comprehensive financial records, and contributing to month-end close activities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with accounting and payroll software, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to support efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment.

Verify the accuracy of invoices against purchase orders and receipts.

Respond to and resolve inquiries from vendors and internal staff.

Maintain vendor records according to regulatory guidelines and perform periodic audits of data to ensure regulatory compliance.

Process and record customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

Reconcile AR accounts and reports.

Apply customer payments and manage credit memos and adjustments.

Assist with Retail Disputes.

Assist with transaction coding, data entry and monthly bank reconciliations.

Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations, as needed.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles in Retail, DTC Ecommerce, Manufacturing and CPG industries.

At least two (2) to three (3) years of general inventory knowledge and management is required.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Paycor.

Experience with Bill.com.
