Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Salesforce Administrator is to ensure the Salesforce platform is configured, implemented, supported, and enhanced across our business. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand the current setup and our business objectives.

The individual should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the change management and governance. It is important this individual has a desire to keep learning and can work autonomously. The ideal candidate will be able to liaise with stakeholders and clearly explain design options and the potential impact.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Salesforce configuration and maintenance of custom and standard objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, workflows, flows, approval processes, app builder, installed packages, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of users and licenses including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security)
  • Implement change control and best practices with regards to configuration, testing, data integrity, etc.
  • Identify and gather requirements, propose scalable solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality.
  • Document design solutions and processes
  • Ensure high quality delivery.
  • Evaluate and install new Salesforce releases.
  • Maintain system proactively including security reviews and health check.
  • Promote the configuration across Salesforce instances via DevOps tools.
  • Work with integrated applications including FormAssembly, FormStack, Conga etc.
  • Learn new Salesforce based applications to evaluate whether the application is suitable for our businesses.
  • Import and export data via Data Loader
  • Administer Salesforce Sandbox environments.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and 2+ years of Salesforce Administrator hands-on experience.
  • Experience with analyzing and solving complex logical problems, working effectively in teams to achieve user objectives, and coordinating the efforts of various departments and functions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Effective communicator- written and verbal
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration tools, including Workflow, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports etc.
  • Data management skills
  • Proactive attribute to platform enhancements
  • Translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Willingness to work in a flexible and hybrid work environment (At least 3 days in the office)
