About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead strategic sales efforts and marketing initiatives that will drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen client relationships within the logistics industry.
This role is responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, leading marketing initiatives, and overseeing sales team performance to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and achieve sales targets within the logistics industry. Identify potential clients and create tailored solutions based on their business needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client requirements and resolving concerns promptly.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Generate and manage leads through networking, cold calling, and participation in industry events. Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns using various channels such as social media, email marketing, industry publications, and events to promote services and reach key stakeholders in the logistics sector.
- Strengthen the company's brand presence by developing marketing materials, presentations, and other promotional collateral that effectively communicate the value of the company's services.
- Lead and support the sales team by setting clear targets and KPIs, providing coaching and training, and ensuring the team is equipped to achieve performance goals. Manage and review sales and marketing budgets as required.
- Monitor sales and marketing performance against targets and prepare regular reports and analyses for management. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to ensure profitability and KPI targets are met.
JobQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably within the logistics industry
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with CRM systems and SAP is an advantage
