Job Title: Purchasing Staff
Job Summary
The Purchasing Staff is responsible for procuring materials, supplies, and equipment required by the company in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role ensures proper coordination with suppliers, internal departments, and project teams to support smooth operations and project execution.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials, equipment, and services
- Request and review quotations, negotiate prices, and process purchase orders
- Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Project Management) to determine material requirements
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid project delays
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and delivery schedules
- Follow up with suppliers regarding delivery timelines, quality, and discrepancies
- Assist in invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation with Finance
- Support the preparation of procurement reports and documentation for management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and project specifications
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Purchasing Manager or Department Head
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or construction supply is an advantage
- Knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes
- Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule
- Full-time | Monday to Saturday
