PASADA, a project funded by DOST-PCIEERD through the FASTRAC Program and implemented in partnership with Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.), is an IoT- and AI-powered platform that analyzes real-time driving behavior to improve road safety and efficiency.
We're looking for a Project Technical Officer I to lead the team and oversee project operations—driving coordination, problem-solving, and daily management.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day project operations, ensuring effective coordination across technical and administrative teams.
- Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Provide technical guidance on IoT systems, including electronics design, embedded systems, and enclosure (3D) design.
- Support development and integration of Python-based applications on Linux environments, particularly Raspberry Pi platforms.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and oversee prototyping, fabrication, and production readiness of hardware components.
- Consolidate and prepare comprehensive reports (technical and business) for project leads and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with DOST reporting, documentation, and project requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal units (Finance, IT, etc.) and external partners.
- Drive problem-solving initiatives and support continuous improvement across project workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Business/Technology Management background is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of IoT systems, electronics design, and embedded systems development
- Experience in enclosure design and 3D modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar tools)
- Proficiency in Python programming and working with Linux-based systems, especially Raspberry Pi
- Familiarity with hardware prototyping, manufacturing processes (e.g., 3D printing, vacuum casting, injection molding), and product development lifecycle
- Ability to understand both technical and business aspects of a project, including reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder communication
- Experience in documentation, technical writing, and compliance reporting (preferably with DOST or similar frameworks)
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
Salary: ₱68,816.00/month
