Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Calculation: Prepare detailed structural drawings and analyze structural components like beams, foundations, and floors for load-bearing capacity and resilience.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction projects meet building regulations, codes, and safety requirements.
- Material Selection:
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate materials (steel, concrete, wood) based on project needs.
- Inspection and Analysis: Inspect existing structures for repairs or renovations and monitor work on-site to ensure compliance with designs.
- Collaboration: Work with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
- Technology Use: Use specialized 3D modeling and CAD software to design and test structural models.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Relevant engineering licenses (e.g., Professional Engineer - PE license).
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- With experience in Oil and gas
