Job Description

The Product Manager - Corporate Product Management deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams. Understands and translate technical concepts to practical business application and drafts and executes product integration/development plans.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage the product assigned in terms of day to day, operational and administrative requirements, enhancements and customer concerns
  • Responsible for product planning, testing and executing strategy relating to the product, delivering high-quality, consistent and sustainable earnings in a highly competitive industry.
  • Lead simplifying products, driving to a common set of processes, systems, platforms and sites, and innovating in ways that set Citi apart. Ensure alignment with policies and establishing standard operating procedures to support product and business growth.
  • Cover end-to-end product management from approvals, to testing, to rollout, operationalization and documentation
  • Deliver a remarkable client experience to our customers and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Support sales and marketing strategy for the product by means of continuous innovation and product enhancement. Support any required integration.
  • Optimize client revenues by supporting One-Citi cross marketing efforts
  • Evaluate market & product value propositions to explore opportunities
  • Build an effective product positioning and enhancement strategy
  • Maintain on-going knowledge of changing consumer needs, market conditions and emerging players/capabilities to ensure remarkable customer experience.
  • Manage critical activities of the product including product delivery strategy, partner relationships and general product management support.
  • Business controls / Operational Excellence
  • Manage external relationships with partners, merchants/vendors, as well as cross functional stakeholders and regulators (as needed), industry players and payment networks
  • Ensure high compliance and regulatory standards and permanent audit readiness
