Role Description The Procurement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for the clinic and laboratory operations. This role includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of medical supplies, equipment, and services. The Procurement Officer will monitor inventory levels, track spending, and support budget adherence by analyzing pricing, quality, and vendor performance. The role also involves coordinating contract terms, maintaining accurate procurement records, and collaborating with clinical, laboratory, and administrative teams to align purchasing with operational needs and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including experience handling purchase requisitions, preparing purchase orders, inventory management, and forecasting.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in contract negotiation and vendor management to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Candidates should have solid analytical skills to assess supplier performance, review cost data, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain within healthcare, laboratory, or related industries is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clinical, laboratory, and administrative teams.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, MS word, and MS excel ) is an advantage.
