Procurement Lead

We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Procurement Lead to oversee sourcing, tendering, subcontracting, and vendor management activities for construction projects. The role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies, timely delivery of materials and services, and strong coordination with project and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in procurement, purchasing, subcontracting, or supply chain management within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, subcontracting workflows, and contract administration
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and commercial evaluation skills
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Can start immediately

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and subcontracting activities across construction trades and project requirements
• Develop, source, evaluate, and maintain a strong pool of suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors
• Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation/Proposal (RFQ/RFP) and oversee end-to-end tendering processes
• Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations and recommend the most competitive and compliant offers
• Prepare bid tabulations, cost comparisons, and procurement evaluation reports for management review
• Review purchase requisitions, technical specifications, scope of work, and project schedules prior to procurement execution
• Coordinate closely with project, engineering, QS, and construction teams to ensure alignment of requirements
• Lead pre-award negotiations and pre-mobilization meetings with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance including delivery, quality, variations, claims, and contract compliance
• Drive procurement process improvements, vendor performance optimization, and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure proper documentation, contract management, and filing of all procurement-related records
