Your Role, Your Impact

The QS Cost Control – Planning Engineer is responsible on the audit of progress of projects, ensuring that the Project will be delivered on time and within the baseline schedule.

• Developing baseline schedules of on-going projects that considers sequence of works, resources, fixed completion dates, milestones and project specifications.
• Monitoring and tracking project progress, production, productivity and writing up reports and red flags.
• Improving progress and schedule awareness for the Project.
• Ensuring all projects are completed on time.
• Physical validation of reported progress on site
• Updating progress and schedule to generate projection of completion dates of projects on a fortnight basis
• Assessment and validation of Extension of time
• Prepare look-ahead, target productions and communicate to respective projects
• Physical validation of reported progress on site
• Updating progress and schedule to generate projection of completion dates of projects on a fortnight basis
• Consolidating reports of projects related to progress, schedule and completion of projects
• Policy writing and amendment if needed
• Undertaking any further duties which the immediate lead may reasonably require in relation to Cost Control and Project Execution.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field
• Preferably passed the PRC Licensure Examination
• 4-7 years of work experience as Planning Engineer
• Expert level of proficiency with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD
• Preferably knowledgeable in Procore, Smartsheet or Oracle PPM.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
