Job Description
- Review Subcontractor's Contract Schedule, Baseline and other schedules submitted by Subcontractor
- Review and validate the monthly programme updates submitted by the Subcontractor as a prerequisite of accepting the Billing of the Subcontractor
- Prepare an integrated internal programme to monitor the interface between Subcontractors
- Prepare impacted schedules based on potential delay event to issue the relevant notices to the Subcontractors whenever there is a delay
- Evaluate the Subcontractor's Extension of Time (EOT) Claim submission
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams in relation to relevant issues pertaining to planning/scheduling
- Develop monthly and weekly reports as required by the Project team
- Perform other tasks as required by the Supervisor and Management
Required Skills and Competencies
- At least 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction/infrastructure project with strong knowledge in delay analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong leadership skills is an advantage
- Primavera P6 expertise is highly preferred alongside with high level of MS excel skills.
- Excellent communication and writing skills are essential
- Strong understanding of project planning, sequencing, the critical path method (CPM), and schedule risk
- Ability to monitor progress against the baseline and identify delays
- Capability to prepare extension of time (EOT) claims and support delay analysis
- Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
