Responsibilities

  • Overseeing Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Staff Management: Engage, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Operate the warehouse according to inventory policies.
  • Logistics Coordinat ion: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including the scheduling of shipments, receiving goods, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and supporting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance metrics, including inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as inventory and support functions, to ensure alignment and support overall business objectives.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate order fulfillment and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse facility, ensuring it is organized, clean, and conducive to efficient operations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial engineer, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, often with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management software and technology, as well as familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in training, mentoring, and motivating staff.
  • Analytical and with problem-solving skills to assess operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
  • Can communication in all level of the organization
  • Organized and with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure, particularly during peak seasons or unexpected situations.
