To develop, implement, maintain and support IT network security solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical lead during pre-sales engagements, including discovery, solution design and proposal development
- Conduct technical presentations, demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for customers
- Translate business and security requirements into network and cybersecurity architectures
- Create cost-effective bill of materials (BOM)
- Ensure company and client sensitive information and IT equipment are kept safe by implementing correct security measures
Education
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering related field of study
Experience and Competency
- At least 3-5 years of Network, Infrastructure or Security administration experience
- Excellent understanding of network concepts including firewalls, routing, NACLs, segmentation, remote access, proxy, NIDS/NIPS, transport protocols
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures supporting multiple branch office/retail locations.
- Experience with implementation of policies and procedures for compliance and audits.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain complex technical detail and tradeoffs to non-technical associates.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision
