We are looking for a Senior / Lead Post-Sales Engineer with a strong Network and Security background to lead the implementation and delivery of enterprise IT solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who can also provide leadership, mentoring, and high-level customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver post-sales implementation of network and security solutions
- Perform remote and onsite installation, configuration, and commissioning of firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and security systems
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex issues and critical incidents
- Review and validate solution designs, BOMs, and implementation plans
- Conduct system testing, security hardening, performance tuning, and UAT
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Project, and Vendor teams
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (as-built diagrams, configuration reports)
- Participate in engineering KPIs, including daily time clocking and activity reporting (billable and non-billable hours)
- Maintain and renew required technical certifications yearly
- Participate in the engineer's weekly standby/on-call rotation
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in post-sales, network, or security engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity technologies
- Experience with firewalls, routing, switching, VPN, wireless, and endpoint security
- Relevant certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, etc.) are highly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
