Job Overview / Purpose Statement

The Client Project Manager (CPM) ensures the smooth execution of client projects and internal initiatives by managing tasks, timelines, and communication across departments. Acting as the operational backbone for Client Success Managers (CSMs) and internal teams, the CPM keeps projects moving, ensures deliverables are completed within SLA, and maintains transparency in workflows through ClickUp and other systems. This role is execution-focused, bridging between strategy (CSMs, Directors) and delivery (Analytics, Search, Meta, Tech).

Responsibilities & Duties

Task & Project Execution

  • Create and manage tasks in ClickUp, ensuring proper assignment, due dates, and follow-up.
  • Maintain updated project agendas, meeting notes, and reminders for CSMs and clients.
  • Track and report project status, escalating risks to CPM Director when necessary.

Client Meeting Support

  • Attend monthly client meetings, capture action items, and distribute agendas and notes.
  • Prepare and send monthly meeting reminders and updated agendas.
  • Support CSMs with weekly calls by preparing project updates in advance.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Lead onboarding workflows: Keeper account setup, GA4/CRM logins, onboarding portal, website audits, and ClickUp tasks.
  • Coordinate with Analytics, Search, and Meta for campaign setup and initial reporting.
  • Manage offboarding tasks including client updates, ads pauses, and close-out communication.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Analytics, Search, Meta, and Tech teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are aligned.
  • Communicate client requests and follow-ups across departments.
  • Ensure agendas, reports, and deliverables are delivered to CSMs on time.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow SOPs for task management, onboarding, and reporting.
  • Support the Director in ensuring client deliverables meet Fountain Forward's standards.
  • Participate in tri-weekly pod calls for alignment across CSM, Analytics, Search, and Ads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 25 years of project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management processes, workflows, and terminology.
  • Proficiency with project management software (ClickUp required; Asana/Trello a plus).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client-facing responsibilities with professionalism

Preferred Experience & Competencies

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and organizational systems.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with analytics, search, or advertising processes.
  • Basic understanding of creative/graphic deliverables to support team workflows
