Your Role
The Marketing Officer is responsible for supporting the Marketing Head, is responsible for developing communication and promotional campaigns that help the company's business objectives. It includes but is not limited to campaigns or programs to generate new banking customers, enhance existing customers relationships, and create brand awareness and visibility. The Marketing Officer also supports the different business units of the CFS sector in achieving their business targets. As assigned, the Marketing Officer also serves as the Unit's Deputy Internal Compliance Officer (DICO) and is responsible for ensuring that the Unit's policies, processes, and standards are compliant with regulatory requirements and issuance.
Your Impact
- Manage and monitor the budget and expenses that are related to the implementation of projects or programs that may be assigned to the MO;
- Core contributor to the conceptualization and implementation of all ATL, BTL and digital Marketing plans, campaigns and communication strategies to support the CFS's various Lines of Businesses (LOB) and the overall Maybank brand.
- Provide key customer insights obtained from both on-ground and online. He/She is also expected to perform regular competitor checks across various online and offline communication channels.
- Ensure regular update and consistent execution of all brand-related initiatives at the branch level. MO is expected to work closely and provide support to the Business Operations and Purchasing Departments;
- Meet all agreed targets and SLAs, Cost Control, Risk Management (Coordination with internal contacts is necessary including: IT, Project Managers, Legal, Bank Marketing, Regional Marketing, other Departments/Business Units);
- Keep up-to-date on all bank's products and services - Initiate continuous learning opportunities
- Timely submission & accuracy of reports, billings and invoices.
- Conduct market research on the latest offers of competitor banks
- Development of marketing programs aligned with business goals/ direction; Route approval and secure budget for proposed marketing programs and campaigns; Request for data extractions for implementation of marketing initiatives; Evaluate effectiveness of programs/ campaigns/ promos implemented
- Create marketing and advertising collaterals; Development of copy/ content for marketing collaterals and communication messages to clients/customers; Execution of marketing communication plan
- Acts as compliance officer for the unit and represents in any or all regulatory requirements issued by the bank; Cost control of assigned budget; Secure documentation and approvals, both internal and external (when applicable); Coordinate with suppliers on the production of marketing
What we are looking for
- Degree in Marketing / Business Administration or related course
- At least 3-5 years of related experience in a similar capacity;
- Bank experience is preferred and will be an advantage
