Position Summary
- The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for executing SimplySource's online marketing strategies across social media, content creation, lead generation, website traffic growth, and brand visibility. The role supports both SimplySource internal marketing and client marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging and measurable results.
- This position requires a mix of creative thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on experience with digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Ads, SEO tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation software.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Plan, create, and schedule content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track platform performance.
- Develop monthly content calendars aligned with brand messaging and campaign goals.
Content Creation & Branding
- Produce marketing content such as banners, captions, short videos, emailers, website copy, brochures, and pitch materials.
- Work with designers and creative teams to ensure strong visuals and brand consistency.
- Write persuasive, clear copy for ads, campaigns, and marketing collaterals.
Lead Generation & Campaign Execution
- Run digital campaigns using Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn Ads if needed
- Optimize campaigns for lead quality, cost efficiency, and conversion.
- Set up tracking pixels, analytics, and retargeting funnels.
SEO & Website Optimization
- Assist in on-page optimization, keyword research, and content updates.
- Monitor website traffic, ranking performance, and user behavior.
- Work with the web development team to improve page speed, structure, and conversion pathways.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards using Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and CRM analytics.
- Track KPIs such as leads generated, cost per lead, engagement rate, and conversions.
- Present insights and recommendations to management.
Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Creative, and Client Success teams to support marketing needs.
- Coordinate with clients (when assigned) to gather requirements and execute digital campaigns.
- Align all digital outputs with company branding and service positioning.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Lead Generation: Number and quality of inbound leads.
- Campaign ROI: Cost per lead, cost per conversion, and return on ad spend.
- Content Performance: Engagement rate, reach, and consistency of publishing.
- Brand Visibility: Growth in social followers, website traffic, and search presence.
- Reporting Quality: Accuracy, timeliness, and clarity of marketing reports.
Qualifications
- 23+ years experience in digital marketing or social media management.
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn campaigns.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and website optimization.
- Experience with Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or other creative tools.
- Strong copywriting skills and ability to create compelling content.
- Familiar with CRMs (Zoho, HubSpot, or similar).
- Able to analyze data and convert insights into actionable strategies.
- Organized, proactive, adaptable, and excellent in communication.
