Job Description

Statement of Duties

Assist in supervising, training, and mentoring laboratory analysts
Support task allocation, monitor workloads, and help ensure timely project completion with consistent quality
Contribute to performance reviews by providing observations, feedback, and recommendations for professional development
Support the execution of analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy, gravimetry, and wet chemical methods)
Ensure analysts follow established protocols, SOPs, and safety guidelines
Assist in reviewing and interpreting data, troubleshooting technical issues, and suggesting improvements
Help develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures
Support calibration, maintenance, and performance checks of laboratory instruments
Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, data, and procedures to ensure integrity and traceability
Assist in preparing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Support compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., PRC, OSHC) and participate in audits and inspections
Assist in implementing the Chemical Safety Program within the laboratory
Support the planning and monitoring of compliance with the organizations Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH) policies
Actively participate in Quality, Environment, Safety & Health, and CSR programs and activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help address quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and improve processes
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging techniques, and regulatory updates relevant to laboratory operations
Carry out additional job-related tasks as assigned by the Lab Manager or management
