The Project Manager oversees infrastructure projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards and scope. The ideal candidate has solid experience managing teams, budgets, and schedules, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to keep projects on track and stakeholders aligned.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage full project lifecycles for IT infrastructure initiatives using a PlanBuildRun framework:
  • Plan Define scope, budget, risk controls, and governance.
  • Build Execute, monitor, and deliver against agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Run Transition smoothly to operations, ensuring stabilization and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement delivery strategies to meet all milestones while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
  • Control budgets, forecasts, and resources to achieve on-time, in-scope, and within-budget delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business heads, vendors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and alignment.
  • Identify and escalate risks early, providing regular and accurate progress reports to senior management and governance bodies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, document key discussions, and prepare comprehensive status reports and minutes.
  • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including charters, risk registers, and change logs, to meet compliance and audit requirements.
  • Oversee operational handover of completed projects, ensuring seamless transition to support teams and long-term sustainability.
  • Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts effectively while staying focused on deliverables

Do you have experience as a Project Manager

Requirements

  • Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information

Technology, or equivalent.

  • Experience Minimum of 510 years in IT project management, applying the PlanBuildRun approach to infrastructure projects such as network transformations, data center migrations, end-of-service/end-of-life (EoS/EoL) refreshes, and enterprise technology upgrades.
  • Financial Management Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and resource costs end to end.
  • Procurement Processes Familiarity with tendering processes, including Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), and e-auction procedures.
  • Leadership & Communication Skilled in stakeholder management and able to deliver clear, concise executive-level communication and presentations.
  • Methodologies &Credentials Knowledge of Agile practices; PMP certification preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge Solid understanding of network architecture, cloud technologies, and server environments; certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or ITIL are advantageous.
  • Tools Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Mobility Willing and able to travel internationally to support project delivery and on-site requirements.

Industry Background

  • Prior experience in retail technology or large-scale, multi-site IT environments is an advantage.
