Job Summary:
The IT OJT Trainee supports the IT team in maintaining systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the BPO environment. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in IT support, networking, and user management.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Provide basic IT support to employees (desktop, headset, softphone issues)
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software problems
- Help in setting up workstations (PCs, user accounts, email, dialer tools)
- Monitor and update tickets
- Perform data entry and documentation of IT incidents and resolutions
- Assist in network monitoring (internet connectivity, LAN issues)
- Support installation of applications and system updates
- Help maintain inventory of IT assets (PCs, headsets, peripherals)
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff
- Follow IT policies, security, and data privacy standards
- Assist in supporting dialers, CRM tools, and VoIP systems
- Support agent onboarding and offboarding (account provisioning)
