Job Description

Job Summary:

The IT OJT Trainee supports the IT team in maintaining systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the BPO environment. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in IT support, networking, and user management.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Provide basic IT support to employees (desktop, headset, softphone issues)
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software problems
  • Help in setting up workstations (PCs, user accounts, email, dialer tools)
  • Monitor and update tickets
  • Perform data entry and documentation of IT incidents and resolutions
  • Assist in network monitoring (internet connectivity, LAN issues)
  • Support installation of applications and system updates
  • Help maintain inventory of IT assets (PCs, headsets, peripherals)
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff
  • Follow IT policies, security, and data privacy standards
  • Assist in supporting dialers, CRM tools, and VoIP systems
  • Support agent onboarding and offboarding (account provisioning)
