Role Description

We are looking for a competent, professional, and highly motivated IT/Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, organizing, and delivering high-quality training programs in information technology and cybersecurity. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners with different levels of experience.

The IT/Cybersecurity Instructor will conduct lectures, workshops, demonstrations, laboratory exercises, assessments, and related training activities. The role also includes developing course materials, updating content based on current industry trends, and supporting clients, trainees, and internal teams in achieving learning and capability development objectives.

Training Delivery

  • Deliver instructor-led training programs in IT, cybersecurity, and related technical subject areas.
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and hybrid training sessions.
  • Facilitate lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and hands-on laboratory exercises.
  • Explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to participants with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Support trainees during practical exercises, simulations, and assessment activities.
  • Administer pre-assessments, post-assessments, quizzes, examinations, and other learner evaluation methods.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to trainees to improve learning outcomes.

Curriculum and Content Development

  • Develop, update, and improve training materials, presentations, manuals, case studies, and laboratory exercises.
  • Prepare lesson plans, session guides, handouts, and reference materials.
  • Ensure all training content is accurate, relevant, current, and aligned with client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Customize course content when necessary to address specific client, sector, or organizational needs.
  • Conduct research on emerging IT and cybersecurity trends, threats, standards, and tools to strengthen course delivery.

Administrative and Training Support

  • Prepare training-related reports, attendance records, completion reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate training schedules, logistics, participant requirements, and related activities with internal teams and clients.
  • Assist in setting up training environments, platforms, systems, and laboratory resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of training materials, trainee performance, and evaluation results.
  • Participate in internal planning meetings, workshops, and capability development initiatives.

Client and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with management, clients, and other stakeholders regarding training needs and deliverables.
  • Address participant and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Represent the organization professionally during training engagements, meetings, seminars, and workshops.
  • Support the continuous improvement of training programs and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching, training, or instructional experience in IT and/or cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of information technology, cybersecurity concepts, systems, tools, and industry practices.
  • Experience in curriculum development, technical training, or laboratory facilitation is an advantage.
  • Relevant industry certifications are an advantage.

Working Relationships

  • Works closely with management, technical teams, administrative personnel, and fellow trainers.
  • Coordinates with clients, trainees, partners, vendors, and external stakeholders when necessary.

Reporting Line

  • Reports directly to the President or to such officer, manager, or supervisor as may be designated by the Company.
