Job Description

Key and Periodic Activities

  • Respond and resolve all IT-related issues and concerns which include but not limited to hardware, software, cyber security, and network.
  • Maintain and/or retain detailed records of IT-related supports.
  • Receive and process requests for purchase of IT-related devices, upon approval.
  • Create email, upon approval.
  • Grant system accesses, upon approval.
  • Ensure that the data backup is carried out regularly, and create records as supporting documents.
  • Evaluate requests for provision of technological hardware and endorse them to the IT Manager for review and approval, when necessary.
  • Report updates to the IT Manager, and escalate issues, when necessary.
  • Monitor the utilization of the company's resources e.g., hardware, software, cyber security, network, and recommend solutions to the IT Manager, when necessary.
  • Ensure that all support tickets are logged as of month-end, and if otherwise, workarounds are in place so as to not cause downtime.
  • Conduct NAS backup integrity checks, and create reports.
  • Organize and perform the annual preventive maintenance of all IT-related devices, and produce reports thereafter.
  • Perform necessary IT-related drills, and provide recommendations to the IT Manager, as necessary.
  • Assist the IT Manager in developing procedures, work instructions, internally generated references, and other relevant documents to ensure the successful implementation of IT functions.
  • Follows organizations guidelines and policy on Quality, Environment, Safety and Health (QESH).
  • Commitment to responsibility and participation in the Quality, Environment, Safety & Health, and CSR programs and activities of the organization.
  • Performs other job-related duties as maybe assigned from time to time.
