Job description:
This role will be responsible for screening and placing qualified Travel Nurses/Clinicians/Certified Nursing Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurse in temporary assignments across various healthcare facilities nationwide. Your primary duties will include:
Responsibilities:
Prospecting Phase
- Calling a new lead - gathering information about them
- Do they have adequate experience for us to staff them
- What are they looking for in an assignment Is this feasible to deliver on in the current market
- Next steps for getting active
- Completed application
- Completed skills checklist
- 2 References
- Answering any questions they may have about Host, the industry, the job market, jobs we have, etc.
Active Phase
- Sending job lists to the traveler/instructing them on how to search jobs themselves in the portal
- Calling to discuss jobs - seeing which ones they want to submit for. Reviewing any job specific details to make sure the traveler is on board with them
- Making sure the profile is complete and compiling selling notes
- Submitting the candidate for jobs
Pre-closing the candidate:
- Ensuring the traveler is 100% on board with the pay, shift, location, and proposed start date for the job
- Confirming the traveler is prepared to accept an offer from the jobs they've submitted for
- Instructing the traveler to look into housing options in the areas they're submitted to and alerting the recruiter asap if they don't think they will be able to make housing work with the estimated gross weekly pay quoted for the jobs they've submitted to
- Keeping the candidate updated on their submissions
- Did the job close Was their file rejected Was their file passed along to the hiring manager, were they selected to complete a virtual or phone interview, have they received an offer
- Checking in with the candidate to see if they've changed their mind on any of the jobs they're submitted to
- Proposing new jobs as they pop up to see get the candidate to submit for more jobs
- Creating pay packages for the traveler that fall within the estimated gross weekly pay range
Offer Phase
- Reviewing offer details when an offer is received to see if they align with what they submitted for
- Creating a pay breakdown for the traveler for the offer
- Discussing offer details with the candidate and determining whether the candidate is going to accept.
- Reading the verbal agreement to the traveler which illustrates the offer details and contract terms the traveler is agreeing to and getting a verbal acceptance.
- Requesting the contract and reviewing for accuracy. Approving the contract so that it's sent to the traveler
- Once the contract is signed by the traveler, communicating to the account manager that the offer has been accepted
Post-Offer Acceptance
- Send a post-booking email to the candidate:
- Details of their assignment
- Timekeeping information
- Credentialing information
- Helpful attachments: guide to credentialing platform, information on benefits, housing guide, etc.
Touching base with the traveler regularly (2-3 times a week):
- Asking if they have any questions
- Ensuring they're making progress with credentialing
- Checking that they've secured housing
- Identifying any potential hurdles to the traveler starting their assignment and getting ahead of them
- Ensuring the traveler is on track to be cleared by compliance to start on time
- Be in communication with the QA specialist
- Check the Friday before start to ensure the traveler has received first day instructions and is cleared to start
Traveler's First Week
- Send them a Happy first day text on their first day
- Send them an email with the following:
- A reminder to look out for facility-specific timekeeping instructions as well as how to access your timecard on the Host portal
- Payroll information
- Benefits timelines and contact information
- Reimbursement details
- Check in with them later in the week to see how everything is going
Requirements
- College level or degree
- At least 1 year of sales support or related work experience preferred
- At least 6 months experience in a C&A Industries administration position preferred
- Utilize a touch-tone telephone, view a PC screen, type at least 35 wpm, demonstrate proficiency in basic Windows operations and use of miscellaneous office equipment (fax, printer, copier)
- Speak and write professionally and follow oral or written instructions
- Establish a working relationship with employees, clients, and candidates
- Organize tasks and manage time and multi-task with a sense of urgency and efficiency
- Function as a cohesive team member, engaging in open communication with all team members, and proactively working in support of the Division's performance goals
- Comply with all company policies and procedures - including adherence to all local, State, and Federal fair employment practices
- Must be willing to work in rotating shifts or US time zone.
- Must be willing to work in the office at Bridgetowne, QC
