Role Description The Industrial Engineer role at Sydenham Laboratories, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Dasmariñas. The role involves analyzing manufacturing processes, workflows, and facility layouts to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical quality standards. Daily tasks include conducting time-and-motion studies, collecting and interpreting production data, and recommending process improvements that support GMP, HACCP, and ISO requirements. The Industrial Engineer collaborates with manufacturing, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to implement optimized procedures, standard operating practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to manufacturing and operations.
- Manufacturing Engineering and Process Improvement skills, including experience with workflow optimization, lean methodologies, or continuous improvement tools.
- Analytical Skills for data collection, statistical analysis, root cause investigation, and performance measurement.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document procedures, and present findings clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, or other regulated manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with engineering and productivity tools (e.g., CAD, process mapping software, data analysis tools) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dasmariñas, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production setting.
