About the Job

JOB TITLE : HR Generalist

REPORTS TO : HR Shared Services Head

LOCATION : Ortigas (DS)

Job Summary

The HR Generalist is primarily responsible for providing HR operational services ranging from talent acquisition and onboarding, timekeeping and payroll, employee relations and employee discipline, and policy development. Further, the incumbent provides support and partnership with the end to end HR operational requirements and process under the different HR/Admin Team but primarily on HRSS.

Job Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition / Recruitment: Partners with the HRSS Head in the implementation of the end to end talent acquisition strategy.

  • Level specific: Sources possible applicants, conducts, interviews and recommends candidates to the HRSS Head
  • Partners with the HRSS head in the implementation of employer branding initiatives and building partnerships with the different educational institutions.
  • Processes billings and payables related to the implementation of TA strategy. This includes but is not limited to the billings of partner agencies, headhunters, publications, etc.

2. Compensation and Benefits

  • Partners with the HRSS Head in the conduct of market research / study in relation to compensation and benefits ensuring the Organization's competitiveness.
  • Audits, and reviews the company's government mandated remittances including that of the manpower agency partners.
  • Reviews the implementation (including the monthly computation) TK, payroll, and other employee cash benefits, HMO administration and billing, and other benefits.

3. Policy and Compliance

  • Conducts audits in partnership with the HRSS Head and HRBP to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and HR standards.
  • Contributes to policy development and process improvement.

4. Level Specific: Partners with the HRSS Head, HRBP, in the resolution and documentation of discipline cases and other employee relations activities. This includes 1st level response to employee helpdesk.

5. Provides administrative support to the different HR teams such but not limited to processing of billings, payment applications, contract application reviews, engagement activities support.

6. Performs other tasks and works on projects that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Specifications

  1. Graduate of any 4-year course
  2. Experience on the following:
  3. At least 5 years of work experience as HR Generalist
  4. At least 3 years of work experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations and Payroll
  5. At least 2 years work experience in employer branding

Knowledge and Skills

  1. Strong analytical skills
  2. Above average communication skills
  3. Highly interpersonal and collaborative, with strong customer / client orientation
  4. Project / Program Management
